Bring the whole family! TriCounty Health Department is making it as easy as possible to get the flu shot at the annual ‘Flu Shootout’ happening today and tomorrow. There will be 4 drive through locations throughout northeastern Utah and flu shots will be available for anyone 6 months and older. The Flu Shootout is happening from 4pm to 7pm on October 4th and 5th at the Manila Clinic, Roosevelt USU, Vernal TriCounty Health building, and Duchesne Welcome Center. They are offering three types of flu vaccines this year including the standard flu shot, the flu mist that is an alternative for ages 2 to 49 and a high dose for the elderly population 65 and older. For fastest service, print off the consent form at home and have one filled out for each family member before arriving. This is the best time of year to get the flu shot and it is covered by most insurances. For those without insurance it is only $25 dollars.
