One of Roosevelt’s most successful events of the year is all about kicking off the holiday season right! The annual Holly Fair was held in 6 amazing locations throughout Roosevelt over the weekend with record crowds, shares Duchesne County Chamber Director Irene Hansen. In addition to the Holly Fair locations, Dr. Ogden hosted Santa for pictures and wagon rides at his office to add to the festivities. “What a great family activity,” shares Hansen. “The weather was perfect. The holiday feel was definitely in the air with lots of crowds and excitement…It is easy to see that these amazing artists and craftsman put so much effort into their work. What an impression they leave!” The Holly Fair is the longest running craft fair in the State of Utah going for over 40 years. There are even some vendors who remember coming to the very first Holly Fair. “It is fun to talk to them about the many changes,” shares Hansen. “I don’t think anyone could imagine that this fun small town event could become one of the best attended craft fairs in rural Utah.”
