Another crash involving a semi happened on Highway 191 north of Vernal. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a blue Peterbilt semi was traveling southbound on 191 at mile marker 366 when it overturned onto a side as it came around a curve. The crash happened on September 15th at 8:17am. The driver and passenger in the semi had some minor injuries but neither were transported to the hospital. Speed and equipment issues were both listed as factors in the crash. Another semi had an accident on Highway 191 north of Vernal just 5 days earlier with the semi running off the road and rolling onto its passenger side into a ditch. The September 10th crash took place 26 miles north of the one on September 15th but Utah Highway Patrol noted that speed and equipment played a factor in that crash as well.
