Events are happening around the state as part of International Overdose Day Awareness,
including one in Duchesne County. ‘A Light to Remember’ is a movement as well as
an organization, which honors those lost to substance abuse, raises awareness about
the dangers of opioids, and creates an impactful event for those in treatment. The
annual event is currently held on International Overdose Awareness Day on August
31st, in multiple counties throughout Utah. Duchesne County’s event will be at the
Central Park Pavilion in Roosevelt from 7 to 9pm on Thursday.
