Vernal Theatre Live is going big with their Season 8 opener, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘Cinderella’, and show director Mike Sorenson says the magic is already at play in this production. “In just two weeks all of the pieces are coming together,” shares Sorenson. “We have more than a dozen people working on the production team to make it all happen. Dresses being made, costumes that change on stage being created, set is being built, pumpkins that turn into carriages… Even when you know all of the things, it’s still magical.” This new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical includes beloved songs ‘In My Own Little Corner’, ‘Impossible/It’s Possible’ and more. “The cast is very busy learning all of their lines and songs and dances,” continues Sorenson. “They are all so talented that it has made it extremely easy to get it all done.
