Roosevelt’s largest celebration of the year continues today much to the delight of Uintah Basin families. UBIC, which now stands for Uintah Basin in Celebration, originally stood for the Uintah Basin Industrial Convention which started in the early part of the 20th century. The industrial convention provided a yearly display of the latest and greatest in farming and industrial technology but has transformed over the decades to be a yearly gala complete with concerts and community activities all day long. Roosevelt PD has a message for attendees of the events and the evening programs tonight and tomorrow at Constitution Park. Please remember that no beer or alcoholic beverages are allowed in any city park without a permit, and no unauthorized vehicles are allowed on the grass/sidewalks in any city park.
