A gorgeous photo taken in northeastern Utah has been chosen as the winner of a major photography contest in the state of Utah. The 2023 “My Utah” Photo Contest had over 400 submissions each titled for where the image was taken. The 1st place submission titled Duchesne County was taken by photographer Taylor Raths. The image is of a casting fly fisherman standing in the river, the scene illuminated with beautiful golden lighting. All winners and honorable mentions will be featured in Bank of Utah’s 2024 My Utah calendar, with Taylor Rath’s first-place winner on the cover. Rath’s Duchesne County photo will also be featured on billboards along the Wasatch Front.
