Imagine what you hope life will be like in your corner of northeastern Utah in 20 or 30 years from now. With that focus in mind, communities in the Uintah Basin are being urged to contribute to a statewide survey from the Governor’s Office. ‘Guiding our Growth’ is meant to be a conversation about how to keep Utah a great place for families and communities as the population continues to grow. The effort started in the Fall of 2021 when the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget was asked to work with community partners to develop a proposal for a statewide growth conversation. They teamed up with organizations from all over the state, providing a variety of perspectives and expertise areas, to pursue answers. It’s important that northeastern Utah is represented in the data gathered.
