Vandals have hit again at the Vernal City Park bathrooms and Uintah Special Service District 1 has once again asked the public for leads on who the culprits may be. It’s only been a few weeks since the bathroom facility at the Ashley Valley Community Park on 500 North was vandalized with a box of white paint on the outer walls and sidewalks. The vandals responsible in that case were caught thanks to help from the community. Hoping for a similar outcome, the District asks that anyone with information on the recent damage done to the overhang roofing material and other property around the bathrooms to please call Vernal City Police or Uintah Recreation. You can remain anonymous and a reward is being offered. Cameras are expected to be installed in all areas of the park soon.
