A nonprofit blood services provider has added some major incentive for those willing to turn out and donate blood in Colorado and a two-day blood drive is scheduled for next week in Craig. Anyone who donates blood Tuesday or Wednesday at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion will be entered into a drawing to win $10,000 dollars through Vitalant, the services provider. Donors can schedule a donation time through Donors.Vitalant.org. All eligible are encouraged to donate, especially universal donors with O negative blood type. For those in Utah, the easiest way to find an opportunity to donate blood is to visit www.RedCrossBlood.org and search for drives within your zipcode. Opportunities are coming up at the rec center, library, Elk’s Lodge, and local churches.
