January tends to be a productive time for many and the Division of Wildlife Resources is recommending adding Hunter Education to your checklist. For those that need to finish their requirements, the DWR has several options. First, the course can be taken online followed by completing an in-person field day. The other option is to attend an instructor led classroom course. “There are several hunter education classes getting ready to start so people can finish their requirements now before the Big Game draw occurs,” shares Conservation Outreach Manager Tonya Kieffer. The Big Game draw takes place January 25th through March 1st. Instructor led Hunter Education classes are scheduled in Vernal for January 12th and February 13th and in Randlett on January 25th.
