A British paleontologist will be presenting in Vernal this week at the Utah Field House of Natural History, often referred to as the Dinosaur Museum. Dr. David Hone will be available for a book signing of his book ‘How Fast Did T rex Run?’ on Thursday, May 18th, at 5:30pm followed by a lecture at 6pm. His lecture is titled “What We Don’t Know About Dinosaurs” and discusses the extraordinary advances being made to solve many of the mysteries surrounding dinosaurs and filling in the gaps of previously accepted knowledge. Dr. Hone worked in Ireland, Germany, and China before taking his current position in London at Queen Mary University. He has published close to 100 scientific papers and is a leader in his field. All are welcome to Thursday’s book signing and lecture.
