Uintah School District celebrated employees and their service at their end of the year banquet Thursday evening at the Uintah Conference Center. Retirees were recognized and those with over 20 years of service included Shary Hill, Kaleen Millecam, Alisa Thacker, and Dirk Collett. Employees that reached 20, 25, 30, and 31+ Years of Service benchmarks were recognized. Those with the most years were Anna Lefevre and RuthAnn Nelson with 40 years and Jenifer Gudac with 45 years of service. Finally, Teacher of the Year Kami Elison and Classified Employee of the Year Erik Middleton were highlighted and each received a standing applause. Vernal Middle School student Auklynd Jones was recognized for her artwork selected for the program cover and the Uintah High School Orchestra provided classical music during the banquet dinner. Isabella Atherton and Ryanna Baldwin added to the evening’s ambiance by performing a Viola duet that they received a Superior rating for at last weekend’s State Solo and Ensemble Festival.
