A Duchesne County boy who spread fun and goodness in his life will be laid to rest this week after a tragic accident last week. The family of Roper Bagley spoke with ABC4 news about Roper’s accident and the good that can come through organ donation. On April 23rd, 14-year-old Roper was pinned under a side-by-side during an accident. He was transported to Primary Children’s Hospital where he tragically passed away three days later. Roper’s parents decided that organ donation was the right choice and would be what Roper would have wanted. Their decision is being looked at as a loving example, as April was National Donate Life Month, of how organ donation can bless the lives of many others. A benefit concert is being held in Roper’s honor tonight at Altamont High School at 7:00pm. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 4th. Evans Family Media joins in offering condolences to the family and friends left behind.
