Uintah County Emergency Management is hosting an 8 week class on ‘Intro to Ham Radio” that will help you get your tech license. The first class has already been held but don’t let that discourage you from coming. Those interested are invited to attend the classes being held every Thursday evening from 6 to 9pm in the Uintah County Emergency Operations Center located at 641 E 300 S #375 in Vernal. The classes will run April 13th through May 25th and with the test on June 8th. There is no need to sign up. Just show up! Class organizers have shared that it’s beneficial if you can attend all 8 weeks, but if you can’t and still want to learn, you’re invited to come when you can!
