The StepOne Service is an inpatient, hospital based 3 to 5 day Acute Withdrawal Management service. It is available to adults requiring medical management of withdrawal symptoms from alcohol and/or opioids.
Wes Taylor, CEO of Ashley Regional, shares that “across the nation, substance use disorder impacts millions of people and their families. The good news is there is hope – addiction can be successfully treated.” A clinical team monitors the patient “using protocol-specific medications in order to reduce the severity of withdrawal symptoms. Providing this specific care decreases the dangers of withdrawal throughout this first step of the individual’s treatment process,” shares Monday’s announcement.
