A traveler seen lying on the side of Highway 40 in Ballard on Saturday alarmed drivers and many concerned individuals turned to social media with hopes to find out if the person was okay.
Unfortunately, the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office reports that the individual was in fact deceased. “It appears the individual suffered a medical event,” shares the Sheriff’s Office representative. “The death does not appear to be suspicious. It was a male in his 50’s. It appears the male was on a walk or possibly just looking around in the area when the event occurred.”
