An excited crowd gathered at the Uintah Conference Center on Thursday for the third annual Rise & Thrive Speed Pitch competition. The grand prize winner was Jonathan Clement with his business Bayou BBQ. He was awarded $12,000 dollars in start-up funds, among other benefits towards future success. Second place was awarded to Boyd Chatwin with Krispy Klean and third place was awarded to Megan Bell with NecessiTee. Fourth place was Ellie Christopherson with Ellie’s Creations Co. Ellie also received the People’s Choice Award. Fifth place was Vance Norton with the Vernal Adventure Center. Congratulations to all the winners and congratulations to all involved on a successful 3rd year of the competition.
