Every year an impressive lineup of local high school seniors are selected as their school’s Sterling Scholars and every year these youth show that the future is in capable hands. Union High School recognized their 16 Sterling Scholars during the Duchesne County School District awards night two weeks ago and one week ago the youth went to Region competition and found success! Amelia Anderton and Kaytlin Baird won in their categories, Amelia in Dance and Kaytlin in Consumer Science. Naomi Wells, Union’s General Sterling Scholar, was named a runner-up.
