Roosevelt City Fire presented their 2022 statistics at the Roosevelt City Council meeting this month. In 2022, Roosevelt Fire responded to 139 calls; 7 were vehicle fires, 41 were wildland fires, 22 were hazmat fires, 17 were structure fires, 5 were extrication calls, and 47 were false alarms. The average number of personnel responding to the calls in 2022 were 8.4 and the average response time was 11 minutes. As you would expect, wildland fires took the greatest amount of time with 521 man hours in 2022 followed by structure fires with 346 man hours. Man hours put in were down for every type of call from 2021 to 2022.
