A fantastic lineup of local experts will participate in an upcoming conference in Duchesne County and all families are invited. The Uintah Basin Community Matters Conference is taking place in less than 2 weeks. The keynote speaker will be Stephen Wright. Wright is the Vice President of BonCom that believes that “behavior is motivation filtered through opportunity and experience.” He specializes in the use of media to generate awareness in adjusting social norms and helping audiences bridge the gap between self-perception and current behavior. Breakout sessions for the conference will include local presenters, including Sidney Smith, Kristin Huber, Jeramie Tubbs, Ben Pugh, and more! There will be games and activities for kids, prize giveaways, and a special magic show. The Uintah Basin Community Matters Conference is on Wednesday, March 8th at 6pm at the Union High School Auditorium. The event is free and for ages 5 and up.
