New employment data has been released by the Department of Workforce Services. The state’s nonfarm payroll employment for December 2022 increased an estimated 2.4% across the past 12 months, with the state’s economy adding a cumulative 40,100 jobs since December 2021. Utah’s current job count stands at 1,689,800. The county employment for Daggett County reached 361 which was up from 346 one year ago. Duchesne County reached 8,369 which was up from 8,018 one year ago. Uintah County reached 13,712 which was up from 12,793 one year ago.
