Snow is here with more in the forecast. Roosevelt City is reminding the public that it is important to help keep fire hydrants cleared of snow. To give firefighters adequate access to hydrants, clear at least three feet around the hydrant. With fresh snow coming be sure to keep the roads clear for the plows. Move trash cans and vehicles off the road, and be sure to not to push snow into the street. Also as a reminder, Roosevelt City is holding their annual month long Winterfest event. Winterfest 2023 will kick off on Saturday, December 31st at Constitution Park. As always, there is free ice skating all day but starting at 5:00pm there will be food trucks and hot chocolate at the walking path. Fireworks will add to the fun at dark as Roosevelt City wishes all a Happy New Year!
