Effort Underway To Help Family Who Lost Home To Fire

Life forever changed for a Uintah County couple early Tuesday morning when they lost everything in a terrible house fire. The community is now rallying around Richard and Francene Deegan to help gather items they will need as well as inviting all that are able, to donate to an account set up for the Deegans. The couple has had little time to think about what they will do moving forward as they have been in a hospital burn center on the Wasatch Front where Richard is being treated for severe smoke inhalation and internal burns to his throat. For those asking where to make a donation, the account is set up under Richard and Francene Deegan at Mountain America Credit Union. Physical donations, including household items, can be dropped off at Outback Rentals in Vernal at 1442 East Highway 40. Four Brothers Pizza is also doing a pizza fundraiser to benefit the Deegans. The outpouring of love and support so far has been very appreciated!
