The new Roosevelt library is receiving its final construction touches and the big move is being planned. In preparation, the final day of operation for the current Roosevelt library will be Friday, December 30th. The library will then be closed and moved to the new building. It will start on January 3rd and it will take most of the month with an anticipated soft opening for business on Monday, January 30th. A formal grand opening event will take place in mid-April. The new Roosevelt Branch’s location is 50 North 200 West in Roosevelt near the current library but on the west side of the Aquatics Center. During the closure all due dates will automatically be extended until January 30th. Go to the new branch to return items once January rolls around, as the drop box will be moved there by January 3rd. There will be no checkouts at Roosevelt Branch during the closure (which includes hotspots and interlibrary loans) and any pick ups, returns, and checkouts can happen at Uintah County Library and the Duchesne Branch of the Duchesne County Library System.
