Projects big and small are adding up to make a huge difference in downtown Vernal, all part of the revitalization effort. “The downtown Vernal renovation plans continue to advance,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “Vernal City has recently purchased two buildings in downtown Vernal in preparation for redevelopment and a public parking lot. The buildings are along 100 East from Main Street to 100 South and were formerly an auto body shop, the former Basin Laundry building, and the car storage yard.” The buildings will be prepared for demolition in the spring, aiming for March 2023.
