Uintah High School represented very well at competition this month with three Uintah seniors being named Sterling Scholars for the Northeast Region. Heidi Daniel, daughter of Bruce and Shelly Daniel, was named the Region General Sterling Scholar. Heidi is or has been involved in cross country, track, mountain biking, DECA, FBLA, National Honor Society, and Uintah High Theatre. She received a perfect ‘5’ on her AP Biology, Calculus, and English Lit and composition tests. She also carries a 4.0 GPA. Heidi plans to attend Brigham Young University or Utah State University majoring in Chemical Engineering.
