Time for Fishing in Northeastern Utah

by | Apr 9, 2018 | News | 0 comments

The Division of Wildlife Resources says it’s time to get outside and fish. Fishing in northeastern Utah is a great close-to-home activity for families in the springtime. DWR Sport Fisheries Coordinator Randy Oplinger has tips for the perfect fishing adventure this spring. Find a location with good access to the shore where fish are fairly easy to catch and which has restrooms and a picnic area nearby. In northeastern Utah Oplinger recommends fishing bluegill at Little Montes Reservoir, walleye at Starvation Reservoir, and bluegill at Steinaker Reservoir.
