A special Veterans Day celebration is taking place in Roosevelt tomorrow and the community is invited. The celebration is taking place in the Roosevelt Arby’s parking lot at 4pm and will include a welcome and the pledge followed by a 21 gun salute, choral singing, the high school band, and a Reading of Names.
The event is sponsored by the owner’s of Roosevelt’s Arby’s, Craig and Michelle Labrum. Craig Labrum’s father was actually serving at Pearl Harbor in 1941 during that tragic day in history. To remember him and all Veterans, the Labrums are hosting the Veterans Celebration and, as a special thank you, all Veterans will eat free on Veterans Day all day long at Roosevelt’s Arby’s.
