Statewide 2022 Preliminary Election Results

Preliminary election results as of Wednesday at 2am, which still had ‘Counting in Progress’ for two counties, reported the following for statewide races. In the race for U.S. Senate, incumbent Representative Mike Lee won the popular vote over closest challenger Evan McMullin. The margin in favor of Mike Lee in the Uintah Basin was much higher than statewide.

The following won the popular vote: incumbent John Curtis for U.S. House District 3, incumbent State Treasurer Marlo M. Oaks, Ronald Winterton for State Senate 20, incumbent Scott H. Chew for State House 68, and incumbent Christine F. Watkins for State House 67.

The popular statewide vote was Against Constitutional Amendment A.
