The Public Relations Committee of the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that Joel Brown is the recipient of the Quarterly Outstanding Public Service award for his continued commitment in serving the community. Joel and his wife Missy were in attendance at Tuesday’s Vernal Chamber luncheon to accept the award.

The presenter shared a tribute about Joel’s contributions, including the following: “He has lived in the Uintah Basin since 2008. He loves Vernal and is passionate about the many wonderful places and things to do that the area has to offer. Active in the community and the Chamber of Commerce, Joel serves on several committees including Conservation Committee, Holly Days, Trees for Charity, Downtown Alliance, Business Development, and the Hotel Vernal Haunt.”

Joel also serves in his church, with the non-profit ‘Dreams in Motion’ which he co-founded, and enjoys time with his wife and 3 sons. Evans Family Media offers a sincere congratulations to Joel on this well-deserved award! Joel said it was very humbling to be awarded and thanked the Chamber and committee for the honor.
