Investigators are still seeking a motive in a murder/suicide that took place last week in Uintah County. Uintah County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a shooting in the Maeser Sun Ridge subdivision on October 13th just after 8:00am. “When deputies arrived, they found two adult males in separate bedrooms who had sustained gunshot wounds,” shares the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office. “Both men were transported to an area hospital in critical condition, however they later died from their injuries. Investigators learned that a 51 year-old male shot his 77 year-old father-in-law, then shot himself. Both men lived with three other adults, who were home at the time of the incident. Luckily, no one else was injured.”
