Thankfully there were no injuries in an accident that took place on Saturday in Uintah County. A semi hauling a load of hay was traveling on SR-191 on the upper portion of the switchbacks when the accident occurred at mile marker 368. According to Utah Highway Patrol, the semi crossed the centerline, overturned, then ran off the road to the right, sliding down several concrete barriers. There were major travel delays as the hay was moved to another trailer and the accident was cleaned up. UHP reports that the driver was cited as speed was a factor.
