Students at Ashley Elementary stepped up in a big way to help a fellow classmate.
Ashley Elementary School held a fundraiser the week of September 19th through the
23rd for a local family who lost their house in a fire on September 17th. “One of the
children in the family attends Ashley Elementary,” shares the District announcement.
“Several of the student’s siblings have attended the school over the years as well. The
school raised $2,849.79 for the family, with Mr. Daniel McKenna’s class raising the most
at $446.33. The student impacted by the fire is in Mr. McKenna’s class and the student’s
classmates wanted to show their love and support.”

Those that would also like to help the family financially can make a donation directly to the family through Venmo @Sadie-Perry-3.
