A Duchesne County School District employee is facing multiple charges to do with sexual solicitation and exploitation involving a minor for actions that allegedly took place last month in Duchesne County. Charges were filed on May 4th against 48-year-old Darin Ace Thomas including two 1st Degree Felony charges of Criminal Conspiracy, two 3rd Degree Felony charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, one 3rd Degree Felony charge of Criminal Conspiracy, and one Misdemeanor charge of Sexual Solicitation. The Duchesne County School District confirms that Thomas works for the district as a maintenance worker and has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the investigation, which is ongoing. According to court documents, Thomas knowingly viewed child pornography, patronized a prostitute, and intended to commit rape of a child. His initial appearance in 8th District Court was scheduled for May 7th.
