The Department of Workforce Services has released the latest employment data which shows Utah’s economic status remaining steady. Utah’s current job count stands at 1,673,200. The employment count in Daggett County is 488 which is down from 513 one year ago. The employment count in Duchesne County is 8,130 which is up from 7,781 one year ago. And the employment count in Uintah County is 13,212 which is up from 12,770 one year ago. “This month’s economic data continues to hold strong in the face of national dialogue about inflation and other economic hurdles,” shares Mark Knold, Chief Economist at the Department of Workforce Services. “Both the national and Utah jobs data are robust and show that hiring remains strong.” Unemployment data by county will also be released this week.
