Having the Uintah County Fair in June has provided fantastic family fun to kick off the summer season. “The fair is always the highlight of the year,” shares Uintah County Commissioner Bill Stringer, who says the County searched around for a good month to hold the fair and June won out. “This ended up being the best month with school just out and people still around. It’s a nice time of year for the fair. I’m looking forward to it!” In addition to the stock show and 4-H displays, this year’s fair includes the carnival, Little Red Barn, Terra Asylum Haunted Maze, candy drop, fireman challenge, food eating contest, Outlaw Trail melodrama, Scales and Tails Show, Miss VIP pageant, baby show, craft corner, weiner dog races, Uintah’s Got Talent, the Dino Monster Showdown and All Star Monster Truck event.
