The Duchesne County Fair is a favorite time of year for many Basin families and this year’s theme is Tropical Nights and Carnival Lights. Events tonight include the Arena Cross and Volleball while Tuesday is the big day for the Livestock Show, Baby Show, Home Arts Show, Pig Wrestling, and more. Wednesday is a big day for the 4H attractions with the exhibits on display and is also the night for the greatly anticipated Carver Louis and Thompson Square Concert. Thursday night is the Demolition Derby while Friday will include Chicken Judging, a Talent Show, and of course the Rodeo that night. Saturday finishes off the fun week with a Fun Run/Walk, Triathlon & Duathlon,  Farmer for the Day event, Petting Zoo, Car Show, Horse Pull, Car Show, Horse Show, and of course the Rodeo again. With so much fun to be had, all can hopefully be understanding that there are no fireworks this year due to the extreme fire danger. Visit
