Many lives were changed as a result of a serious car crash that took place on July 24th on Highway 191 north of Vernal. Two of those lives forever changed were Karina Logan and Amber Slama and those close to them have organized a raffle fundraiser to help with the medical bills as both women sustained multiple severe injuries and were transported to University Hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment. There will be bounce houses, snow cones, cotton candy, and vendors at the event. There is a long list of great prizes being raffled. 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards the medical care and other needs of these two women and their families. Raffle items are still being collected for any that are willing to donate and the event will be held
on September 1st
at the Vernal City Park at
500 North 900 West
by the Searle Pavilion. Raffle tickets can be bought at RDT, Inc. and Pen’s Place, both in Vernal, and Skeeter’s Cafe in Jensen.
