School days are underway and Uintah School District Superintendent Mark Dockins reports that things in Uintah School District have been great so far. “We were able to start the year fully staffed [and] our numbers are up over our projections which is showing growth in our student enrollment,” shares Dockins. “Our teachers are amazing in the professional way they take on all the responsibilities they have. It’s going to be another great year for Team Uintah!” Friday is the District’s tenth day and the unaudited numbers are showing roughly a 2 percent growth in student enrollment. Last year at this time, enrollment was at 6,986 students in the District. This year, the District is right around 7,135 students. That is about 150 students above the initial projections for the 2018 – 2019 school year.
