Years of brainstorming, studies, and collaboration have paid off as the Dino Trails Committee has presented their final Trails Master Plan to local stakeholders. Sunrise Engineering presented the final plan to the Vernal City Council during their September 4th meeting and Vernal City Council gave the plan their final approval during their September 18th meeting. “The master plan has been in the planning stage for two years in joint effort with dozens of government and non-profit entities,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “The trail plan identified priority trails for Uintah County and includes all types of trails including hiking, mountain biking, equestrian, road bike, sidewalks, and OHV.” Bennion emphasizes that this plan will enable Vernal City and the other entities involved to incorporate trails into future projects and plans.
