Rocking out comes natural at Dinosaur National Monument and in conjunction with Earth Science Week and National Fossil Day, the Monument is having a month long Rocktoberfest! The celebration kicked off on Saturday and Sunday with a Fossil Discovery Hike each day followed by several scheduled Quarry Talk meetings. Rocktober events will continue through October 21st. The Junior Ranger program will also be available to kids ages 5 to 12. The next events will be held October 10th at the Wall of Bones and October 13th.
