Mental health, suicide, bullying, social media, technology, underage drinking, vaping…There are so many issues that today’s youth are navigating and knowing how to help can be overwhelming and even confusing. An upcoming event, organized by the local Prevention Advisory Coalition(PAC) and the Duchesne County School District, could be a great place to start. The free community conference invites parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, and students ages 8 and up, that live in Daggett, Duchesne, and Uintah Counties for an evening that will address important topics that are relevant for northeastern Utah youth. Students that attend will receive an incentive and educators will receive up to 4 licensure hours. This free community conference will be held Wednesday, November 7th, at Union High School from 6 to 9pm.
