The victim of a stabbing that took place in a Vernal home on September 13th has passed away. Vernal Police issued a news release over the weekend, offering their condolences and stating that stabbing victim Cal Dee Reynolds passed away in Salt Lake City on November 3rd. The news release also provided an update stating that the “investigation by the Vernal Police Department and the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect. The suspect is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges [and] formal charges are expected to be filed at the beginning of the week.” Vernal Police plan to release information on the suspect once formal charges are filed.
