Local Man Killed in Idaho Plane Crash

Family and friends are mourning the passing of a valued member of the Vernal community. According to a press release from Idaho’s Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland, the Bingham County Dispatch Center was advised of a plane crash by the Aberdeen Airport
on Monday at around 9:15am
. “Officers from Aberdeen Police and Bingham County Dispatch Center were dispatched to the scene,” shares Sheriff Rowland. “When officers arrived, they advised that Daniel Angus, age 42, from Aberdeen had been killed in the crash. Next of kin has been notified.” Cameras at the airport revealed that the plane crashed
at around 8:00am
that morning. The airport was closed to traffic until the FAA arrived to investigate the crash. Daniel Angus grew up in Vernal and graduated from Uintah High School. He also owns a home and business in Vernal. Our condolences to the family and friends mourning at this time.
