Public service can come in many forms and at the moment Roosevelt City has a few suggestions on how to take the plunge. If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, serving the community on committees may be a great fit for you. Roosevelt City currently has vacancies on the Planning and Zoning Commission as well as the Arts, Parks, and Recreation Committee. There are some requirements, including living in the city limits for the Planning and Zoning committee and living within Roosevelt or its surrounding areas for the Arts, Parks, and Rec committee; having some experience and skills applicable to the committee; and the ability to attend all scheduled meetings.
