The teens of Uintah Theater open their production of ‘Mama Mia!’ tonight and between the set, lighting, music, and talented cast, the word is this is not one to miss. “This show dazzles!” shares Uintah Theater Director Christopher Piner. “The hit songs of ABBA will have the audience dancing in their seats through the whole show. Just wait until you see the set! That combined with the award winning lighting of designer Andie Szekely will transport you to a summer on a beautiful Greek resort. It’s mesmerizing and absolutely gorgeous.” This production has 62 cast members, 8 crew members, and a creative team of about 30 people. “We have seasoned talented performers and some brand new faces that we know you’ll love,” continues Piner. “Linda Cochran’s costumes are once again a smash, and Brian Litton is back working his musical magic with a pit of brilliant musicians.” The creative preparation for this show started all the way back in the spring of 2019. The show runs select nights March 4th through the 12th. Get tickets at www.uintah.ludus.com.
