The Uintah School Board held a special business meeting last week to discuss the district’s upcoming capital projects. “The board approved capital outlay projects totaling $6.56 million dollars for the Fiscal Year 2023 budget year,” shares the announcement. “The amount includes about $2.1 million dollars in capital projects that were approved during previous budget years but have not yet been completed. The district has sufficient reserves in its capital fund to pay for the approved projects.” More information is on the district website under the School Board tab by clicking on Meeting Agendas and going to the agenda for the February 23rd meeting. The school board will hold another special business meeting Thursday, March 3rd, at 5pm to interview applicants for a vacancy on the board for District #2.
