It was a fantastic evening at the Uintah Conference Center for the Annual Chamber Meeting and Awards Dinner. This was the 72nd year for the event held last night with excellent food and special guest speaker Olympic wrestler Rulon Gardner. The big recognition of the night was the announcement of the Total Citizen of the Year for 2020 – 2021 awarded to Kevin VanTassell. The following were awarded the Businesses of the Year: Split Mountain Garden Center (Agricultural), Dinosaur National Monument (Government), George T. Weldon Construction LLC (Manufacturing/Industry), L&L Motor Company (Retail/Wholesale), and Uintah County 4-H (Service). Life Time Achievement Awards were given to Hal G. Hatch and Reed Hansen.
