According to a release from the Uintah Fire District, the Naples City Fire Department received a page for a house fire at 6150 South 1500 East in Vernal at approximately 1am on February 8th. “Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke coming from a trailer house in a mobile home park,” shares Uintah Fire District. “Two adults (a husband and wife) and a pet dog had exited the structure before arrival of firefighters. Crews immediately made entry to the home through the front door and found heavy smoke and fire in the back bedroom. It took firefighters roughly 20 minutes to extinguish the fire and search for fire extension. Cause of the fire is under investigation and damages are estimated at $40,000 dollars.”
